Application
editThe examples shown here obviously related to some kind of lens. There is a link to this article from the entry for parabolic trough collectors. Does this acceptance angle concept also apply to reflecting solar concentrators, or only lens-type ones ?Eregli bob (talk) 08:00, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Concentration acceptance product (CAP)
editThe Concentration acceptance product (CAP) section is meaningless, since it does not state whether it is talking about linear focus or point focus systems. The answer is different: the product is squared for a point focus and not squared for line focus. Geoffrey.landis (talk) 03:14, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
