As a student attending the Academies@Englewood, I find this article to be biased. Whenever someone tries to put the POV of an A@E student, it gets deleted. People should know that the newspapers and these "reliable sources" are all biased against A@E kids. Luckily that's becoming less recent. I'm personally more worried about people, pro or against A@E who just vandalize this article with either total nonsense or their own personal opinions. Can't we behave like adults and keep this an intelligent page that might help people in search of actual information? - b1lskirnir
I'm kind of upset that my own personal experiences at the school for four of the most incredible years of my life can only be skeptically seen under the veil of "original research." How the hell do you back something like that up with articles? There is little to no published information on the school, online or print, and whatever exists is generally biased and doesn't cite sources either. I am giving you first-hand factual, un-biased knowledge that I know as a graduate of A@E's inaugural class. In all honesty, anyone not involved with A@E, Dwight-Morrow, or the city of Englewood has no right to edit this article whatsoever, as the purpose is to inform people who don't know about the program. I am telling you what I know and what you won't find in any published articles or journals. I'd love to cite my sources, but the problem is that they don't exist. If you think that printed information outweighs personal knowledge, then your opinion is totally counterproductive to the entire purpose of a "free encyclopedia" where information is designed to be by the people, for the people. - b1lskirnir 5/7/07
