Caption says "14,000 kW absorption heat pump", wouldn't this be 14MW or would it really be 14KW? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dkelly1966 (talkcontribs) 00:22, 3 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

@Dkelly1966 Decimal point. 14,000 vs 14.000 in different countries. In UK 14.000 = 14 and 14,000 = 14000; in Germany 14,000 = 14 and 14.000 = 14000 194.207.180.128 (talk) 06:08, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Absorption heat pump/solar thermal

edit

This article does not explain much about how the heat pump mechanism actually works, nor how/why an a.refrigerator can not work reverse as a heat pump. Also some efficiency levels, e.g. comparred to compression heat pump (heater/refrigrator) would be relevant. Furthermore, the solar-termal data are though intrestin to mention. However, they would belong to solar thermal articles, not here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lifebeginat200 (talkcontribs) 23:19, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Units

The primary unit type is not SI for this article — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.98.144.157 (talk) 10:43, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Very nice article. I had only a few small revisions.--80.115.240.35 (talk) 15:19, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Size

edit

Camping Refrigerators are operated by propane. Some hotel fridges use the absorption principle due to less noise than a compressor heat pump. Therefore the claim of larger size and higher complexity should be explained further, or abolished. 194.207.180.128 (talk) 06:02, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
