Misleading information edit
The biography for Abraham Whipple starts as follows: "was an American naval officer and slave trader".
The basis for this? A receipt showing he traded one slave early in his life, with no record of him ever doing so again. If I try weed once in my 20s and never use it again, will my epitaph read "pothead"? It should be removed. Thank you. 174.54.35.122 (talk) 02:54, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

Should this guy be Category:18th-century American slave traders instead of 19th-century since by 19th c he was in Ohio? It seems like sale mentioned was 1700. LMK what you think Smasongarrison jengod (talk) 19:28, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
