Barrel aging?

@Lightburst: Thanks so much for your help on this article! I noticed you added a "see also" for barrel-aged beer. I hadn't seen sources that mentioned that this company used that process—thought they were more of a low- to mid-market operation that wouldn't be likely to make fancy beers like that. Advertisement/logo

@Lightburst: Great find on that! Isn't it in the public domain since it was published in 1900? I guess it's hard to tell given that the logo might have been used until 1935, but I would imagine that an advertisement published in 1900 has lost its copyright protection? No objection to use of the logo itself; I cut the other images just now only because the page looked a little overcrowded with three of them. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 00:23, 5 August 2020 (UTC)

It is ok to use logo's- I found it in the 1900 Washington Times. But I also think the photo of the factory should be somewhere in the ad. Lightburst (talk) 00:30, 5 August 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for collaberating. That was fun. Saving the content for future generations. I learned alot. For instance that Christian Heurich fellow who sued them, he was snarly all throughout. Even fighting with the fireman...who got together to pay his striking workers in 1904. He was involved in several lawsuits throughout, and his interviews in 1899-1935 newsprint were always acerbic. i wonder if he has an article or his company? I got Newspaper access through WP. Just applied and it was granted. It is really interesting to see the old adds, and article titles. I love it. You should work on some articles over at WP:ARS. I find it very fun to save articles, and we even have quite a few DYKs. I wrote an article years ago called Jean Mill and the ARS saved it with research, I have been a member ever since.
