Sister City

edit

Abilene's sister city is no longer Minori, Japan. This is due to the merging of three cities from Ibarahi, Japan into one larger city. One of the three cities was Minori, Japan. The other two include Ogawa and Tamari, Japan. These three merged under the name of Omitama, Japan in 2006. Now the sister of Abilene is Omitama, Ibarahi, Japan.

According to the grading scheme template, any C-class article is well-developed, but requires a large amount of clean-up work. The history section is completely uncited, and is missing information on the government and economy. What is there is relatively short and somewhat outdated, so it falls short of a B-class rating. It follows the Manual of Style for the most part, from what I saw, so it is worthy of more than a Start-class rating.

This is a Low-importance article because it has a relatively small population (6,543 people as of 2000), and has not seen the international spotlight.
