School fence edit

I belive this is a notable entry, please don't remove it —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kylesenior (talkcontribs) 03:32, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Kyle, please read the first paragraph in the rules Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines, which I would assume also covers the article istelf, as your modifications were a personal opinion. A comment would be recognizing that the school has a fence for security reasons but not in which the way you stated. Eckypro (talk) 07:11, 11 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree, something should definetley be said about the fence, but first, some editors have to realize that wikipedia is not for free advertisment, i'm working on a new section "security" which will mention the fence--Chocolog (talk) 10:56, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Forget that, it's now "vandalism"--Chocolog (talk) 11:49, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced, heresay and untrue Rubbish - not encyclopaedic 203.213.109.106 (talk) 15:11, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate Tone edit

This is a copy/paste job from the School's own website. It's a little glowing for an encylopedic entry, but then again, I do I have homosexual tendencies Oliyoung 04:18, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oops edit

I should really read the guidelines before messing around. I think what I wrote made Wendy Teasdale-Smith look bad, she is one of the finest principals in the country and I think she has greatly improved the overall operation of the school during the time she has been in service. Changes to these pages edit

Would people stop continously attempting to change the article when it's obvious multiple people are monitoring and un-doing these changes.

maybe it should be semi protected so there is more control over who can un-do changes or not--Chocolog (talk) 11:05, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Adding unreferenced heresay rubbish about "Vandalism" like you did is exactly what is meant here
that's funny, because I meant protecting it from people like you, who seem to be treating wikipedia as if it was made for promoting enrollment to this school. I'm only trying to present the facts. I understand it's original research, but if I have to, I will go the extra mile and obtain evidence.
P.S. could you please sign your posts??? it's only polite.Chocolog (talk) 10:13, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
You have presented no proof of your so called "Vandalism" apart from heresay evidence - You are just stating an opinion not providing fact - that is why it is changed not because it is "Promoting Enrollment" - The school's own website does this NOT wikipedia [[User203.213.109.106 (talk) 15:11, 23 September 2009 (UTC)]]Reply

Hopeless Propaganda edit

I have to say, this page is absolutely useless and many of the facts are untrue. As an IGNITE student at this school, I have yet to see these "IT pods" or our promised laptops. Also, soon, a new uniform is coming in and I'm sure they'll put something about them "consulting the entire school community" about the new uniform (which they didn't).

'IT pod' is just a fancy name for wherever they decided to put a computer, and please don't complain on this site until it's actually happened(but I do agree, blergh on th uniforms)--Chocolog (talk) 11:53, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

'IT Pod' is the name for the mobile units used to store Apple Macbooks in multiple areas. These contain the power packs to recharge the laptops and hold up to about 8 laptops. This is NOT the name for the desktop computers.Edge Fix (talk) 08:31, 29 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality edit

The page is glamourizing the school, with misleading statements such as "IT pods" and downright lies, "outstanding computer network".

This article seems to be more of an advertisement than part of an encyclopedia--Chocolog (talk) 11:59, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Firstly "IT Pods" and "Outstanding Computer Network" are referenced from own school's context statement. You may wish to take up the matter with the appropriate department at the school regarding changint that. Also adding unreferenced heresay rubbish is even worse
Thanks for pointing that out to me, the entirety of 'facilities' was plagiarised from the context statement, i've made it a quote, but shouldn't there be more info here than from the schools official view on itself???

once again, This article seems to be more of an advertisement than part of an encyclopediaChocolog (talk) 10:04, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'd also like to point out two things; Wikipedia is not for advertising and Wikipedia is not censoredChocolog (talk) 10:28, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Change the article then that is what Wikipedia is for - but make it referenced and not just your opinion 203.213.109.106 (talk) 15:11, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
