Pont Treseli is not part of Abercych

edit

After discussion with locals, the following things appear to be true:

  1. Pont Treseli is the original name of what is now called Pontselli.
  2. Pont Treseli/Pontselli is a hamlet that is not part of Abercych village.

Confirmation of this can be had by finding house names around Pont Treseli and looking up their postcodes. Both SA37 0LG and SA37 0LQ are Pontselli, Boncath not Abercych, Boncath (as houses in Penrhiw, Forge Cych and Pont Hercws are).

Google Streetview shows the road sign for Abercych to the north of the Nag's Head Inn, which firmly excludes Pontselli. [1].

Somewhat rambling supporting testimony from locals is in this Facebook thread [2].

I've not altered the article because I'm not sure that the above constitutes sufficient evidence to satisfy Wikipedia standards.
