Notability
editI've read the archive on the 2005 deletion discussion. Two quick factors on notability. First, I agree with one of the commentors that his membership in the Institut de Droit International alone should qualify. See number three of the Academic Notability Criteria. The Institut de Droit International qualifies as such society. That aside though, he has since become a judge of an international court, specifically the International Court of Justice. This meets number one under General Notabitiy for policians (and judges). Granted that's listed as a secondary basis, but in this case it should suffice. IMHO (talk) 00:37, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

This page has been vandalized in order to mischaracterize the subject's birthplace and background. I would, therefore, propose that the following unsubstantiated sentence is deleted as it lacks a reliable source: "Yusuf hails from the Majeerteen sub clan of Darod." - Done But in the future, refrain from calling edits you are challenging "vandalism" without good reason. Vandalism has a specific meaning on Wikipedia and this isn't it. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:26, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
