A brief introduction of the prominent Pakistani painter. The write up has been marked as stub for further expansion. The external links at the bottom are of various news paper sites that refer him in addition to the official site of the well renowned painter. Please read the content of the links for authentic references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nmansoor (talkcontribs) 19:00, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

If there are plenty of reliable secondary sources about this painter, he would meet Wikipedia's notability standards. However, the article needs a fundamental rewrite to meet wikipedia's standards of neutral point of view. As it is written, it does nothing but promote this person, and that is a criterion for speedy deletion. Okiefromokla questions? 19:12, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Indeed, the article should be cleaned up dramatically. Nmansoor, I'm going to leave you time to do this but if the article remains in its current state, there's a good chance it will be deleted down the line. Pascal.Tesson (talk)
Updated. Kindly review and provide feedback --Nmansoor (talk) 10:19, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
This is much better. I've cleaned it up a little bit and moved the page to have the artist's full name. You should double-check the references: some of the links are broken. Also, it would be important to make sure that the info you included can be properly attirbuted to reliable sources. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson (talk) 15:42, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Looks good but you should definitely fix the Exhibitions section. Descriptions such as "Most powerful exhibition of his career" are a bad idea and fail the neutrality principle. While you're at it (if you have the time and patience) it would be good to have references for the descriptions of these exhibitions and, at the very least, references for statements such as "censored and banned by the martial law regime" or "reviewed by Mark Finemann of Los Angeles Times". The "Served as" section could also used references and, possibly, some trimming. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson (talk) 23:45, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
By the way, Nagori's website has a list [1] of pdf copies of newspaper clips (and date of publication in most cases) which should make it somewhat easier to give precise info on references. Pascal.Tesson (talk) 23:47, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh and I see that you're a new editor so if you need help with formatting, do let me know. One thing you might find useful is the citation helper. To activate it, go to "my preferences" (top right corner) and in the "Gadgets" tab, tick the "refTools" box. Once you've done this, you'll see that when you edit the article, the editing toolbar contains a new button ("CITE"): it's a pretty decent time-saver, especially if you're unfamiliar with the reference formatting. Thanks Pascal for the guidance and insights. Will keep working on the suggested improvements as I learn alongside the wiki framework and its guidelines. Cheers Nmansoor (talk) 09:16, 9 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
