Voice in the Wilderness Cliff Richard song

There's an anomaly in the 'background and reception' section of this article. It refers to discussions between Richard and his manager about plugging the song on the BBC programme 'Top of the Pops'. This must have been the radio programme hosted by Brian Matthew as the more celebrated TV one started several years after. However Wikipedia says the radio TotP didn't start until 1964 - four years later. When, in music industry terms, 'Voice' was ancient history.
