Criticism

Where are the reviews of this work? @Sitush: and others, including possibly Lankiveil, do not feel that this is a reliable source. This would be a good place to cite the RSs that criticise both this work and the census data upon which is was based. --Bejnar (talk) 02:37, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

Just to clarify my earlier comment, I believe that all works from the era should be used with caution, especially in such cases where they make claims that aren't supported by any other sources. Yes, there should be a discussion of the reliability of this work, based on the opinions of the experts (outside of wikipedia editors). What facts/opinions included this book are not reliable, and what are reliable? How are these views justified?. What are all works from the era? Is that all works in India, or all works globally? What period is "this era", and who determined that? Malaiya (talk) 22:42, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
