Wierd thing with these: The article mentions them being six-legged, and Battlefront II does as well, but all the shots from the movies clearly show them as having a mere *four* legs. The models in Battlefront II actually had six legs, with two more flexible ones inbetween the front and rear sets. The comment about them not being easily transportable, and their unwieldy six-legged design, is actually taken from Battlefront II if I recall. But all the movie screenshots clearly show an armor plate where the other two legs are in Battlefront II...wierd. -Graptor — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.161.204.180 (talkcontribs) 09:56, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Watched Epi II again to check this out. Turns out they *do* have six legs in the movie, just the picture has a crummy angle on it. The leg in the picture that appears to be the rear leg is in fact the middle leg, just the angle on the shot is such that it's both blocking the view of the rear leg and the back half of the vehicle! Not only that, but the front right leg is blocking the view of the rear left, and the entire front of the vehicle is blocking the view of the entire rear half of the one behind it! You can see the left rear leg if you look *very* closely, and the half AT-TE visible on the far right clearly has three legs showing. Looks like, overall, it's just a bad picture. Probably ought to be replaced, as it gives the impression that the things are about half the size they actually are, based on what is visible, and manages to give the impression that they've only got four legs instead of six. This is why I check these things. -Graptor

No one cares to mention how this is clearly an inefficient, impractical, and simply idiotic design? Haizum 05:58, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
