This redirect is incorrect! FC Politehnica Timisoara was dissolved in 2013 and there are two teams that wants to continue their legacy: ASU Politehnica Timişoara, in the 5th league, and ACS Poli Timişoara in 2013-14 Liga I. Due to legal complication (unpaid contract, suspensions etc.), at this moment none of those two teams is a direct successor of FC Politehnica. However, there was multiple indications that the colors and history will be taken by ACS Poli Timişoara, probably starting with the next season. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acornboy (talk • contribs) 23:25, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
The target of this redirect recently moved, making this a double redirect. Could the target please be changed to FC Politehnica Timișoara? Thanks. Steel1943 (talk) 14:20, 9 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
There are two different teams. How could I challenge the original redirection, since it was a wrong one? You could see on their web page that ASU Politehnica plays in the 4th league (http://www.sspolitehnica.ro/), while FC Politehnicva was disolved last year.Acornboy (talk) 14:07, 10 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
While you are at it, please clean up after the move. Since the page was moved, the talk pages should probably all be merged and moved and redirected to one as well. — {{U|Technical 13}}(t • e • c) 13:47, 20 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Things are more clear now than in 2014 or 2013. FC Politehnica Timișoara was dissolved in 2012. Two clubs were formed ACS Poli Timișoara, with some continuity rights in the old clubs history (FC Politehnica) and ASU Politehnica Timișoara, supporters club, recognized as "ASU" even by Romanian Football Federation. The two clubs are known as ACS Poli and ASU Poli, no reason for ASU Politehnica Timişoara to be redirect to ACS Poli Timisoara, can create confusion. ASU Politehnica Timişoara need to be redirect to ASU Politehnica Timișoara. Rhinen — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rhinen (talk • contribs) 19:16, 14 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
