I will be doing a GA Reassessment on this article as part of the GA Sweeps project. H1nkles (talk) 20:38, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have begun my review and here are some of my thoughts:

  • Two sub-sub section (Plus Three and ASEAN-Russia Summit) are simply one sentence long, this is too short for its own section. Please combine sections for better continuity and flow.
  • The primary concern is the citations. I added a couple of [citation needed] templates but many more could be put into the article. There are two clean up banners for citations (which were added in May of 2008 with no action taken), many more could be put into the article. An anon IP editor placed a notice on the talk board about needing citations and cautioned that the article could be delisted if more references were not forthcoming. That was in April of 2009.
  • Along the same vein as the references, the following ref numbers are dead links that would also need to be repaired: 66, 67, 73, 74, and 80.
  • Ref 5 is a link to a wiki commons source, it isn't appropriate to cite wikipedia or it's various components as a source in one of it's articles.
  • None of the tables are referenced.
  • Basically any paragraph that doesn't have at least one reference needs one. That's a lot of paragraphs in this article.
  • There is no Fair Use rationale for use of the S.E.A. Write Award image and the ASEAN ParaGames logo. This needs to be added or the images must be deleted.
  • The world map with all the members color coded is duplicated in the Lead, it doesn't also need to be in the body of the article.
  • The tables have dash(-) errors in the dates, at least in my internet browser. See WP:DASH, for date ranges there needs to be hard dashes (–), I will edit one to show what it should look like. Since the error is showing in my browser (Internet Explorer) I'm sure this is evident elsewhere as well and needs to be addressed.

At this point the article needs work to maintain its GA status. I'll hold the article for a week and give editors a chance to make corrections. I'll then reevaluate. H1nkles (talk) 21:16, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

As far as I can tell the links appear to be fixed but everything else remains undone. At this point I will delist the article. Please address these issues and renominate at WP:GAC, this is a great article on a worthy subject. H1nkles (talk) 15:45, 8 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
