Should this page be merged with a similar one? edit

Should we merge this page with Afghan National Army Commando Corps? the two pages are very similar in content. perhaps they were the same organization, or perhaps one organziation was simply a subset of the larger umbrella org. regardless, i think it would be best to merge the two into one page. does anybody have any ideas? Please do not merge the two together! I am an Afghan man with relatives who were additionally commandos under the Afghan government in the Islamic Republic era and The ANA SOC and the ANA Commandos are not the same and the ANASOC is made up of both the ANA and ANASOC!
”ANASOC has its headquarters and principle training area at Camp Commando on the outskirts of Kabul. There are two SOF brigades and ten Special Operations Kandaks stationed across Afghanistan. The kandaks are composed of Afghan National Army Commandos and Afghan National Army Special Forces.”
” The ANA Commandos wear unique maroon berets while the ANA Special Forces wear unique tan berets. The different color berets distinguish the ANASOC soldiers from the conventional ANA soldiers.”
So yet again, please do not merge. Thank you!

New article for “Predecessors” and “DRA commandos” edit

Is it likely there could be an entirely new article for the predecessors of special units in Afghanistan? It wouldn’t clog up the page… AfghanParatrooper19891 (talk) 14:01, 3 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
