Sorry this has been sitting here for so long. I'll get back to you in a few hours. BenLinus1214talk 20:43, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • BenLinus1214, Thank you very much! It's been a while since I've touched it so I acknowledge that the prose may need to be cleaned up slightly and the paragraphs restructured a bit. 23W 23:21, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Comments edit

Plot edit

  • @23W: This is only an 8 1/2 minute pilot, yet the plot summary is about as long as that of a 21-minute episode. Is all this really necessary?
    • Reduced and rewritten. 23W
  • When writing plot synopses of animated series, is there some sort of guideline or policy (or even unwritten custom) of not listing the voice actors the first time a character is mentioned? This is actually a question--I dabble in The Simpsons articles, but I don't know do too much work on animated series.
    • There's no real guideline, but I listed them in the production section. Too many parenthesis looks weird IMO. 23W

Production edit

  • Is there an image that would be relevant here?
    • Added (of the band). 23W
  • The pilot has some notable voice actors, yet you mention nothing of them. Are there any notes that can be found about their roles in the production of the pilot? Otherwise, just a sentence saying that they were in it would suffice.

Reception edit

  • The image's caption would be a bit unclear to a casual reader who just looks at the caption, because just from that, it's unclear who "Lamb" is. I would specify, saying something like "John Lamb, a reporter for the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead…" Also, a link to Fargo South High School would be helpful.
    • Removed the image entirely; seems too irrelevant. 23W
  • The article leaves a question—why wasn't the pilot picked up? It seems like it was acclaimed and did fairly well--is there any information on this? A reader would probably be wondering this as well.
    • It could very well still be in development. Jones hasn't suggested otherwise on his blog IIRC. Cartoon Network is rather lenient with their pilots. I mean, the pilot for Uncle Grandpa was released in 2008 and green-lit in 2012, so it's anyone's guess. 23W

Break edit

  • @BenLinus1214: Whoops! I've been off the radar for a bit and wasn't able see these comments. Would it be possible to extend the deadline until the end of this week? Thanks. 23W 19:05, 25 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
    • @23W: Of course! I'm not too harsh on these things, and I understand that people are off-wiki for some time. :) I don't close GAs until comments have been responded to or if the nominator is gone for a really long time. BenLinus1214talk 21:21, 25 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
      • @BenLinus1214: A lot of the syntax was clunky, so I decided to rewrite much of the article. Feel free to make more comments if any of these changes seem worse. Thanks again for the review, and sorry for the delay! 23W 09:44, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
      • @23W: Alright, this version is a lot better! Everything I said was fixed very nicely. Pass. BenLinus1214talk 23:30, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
