Active Suspension? edit

In an article published in 2000, it was said that AGV will be fitted with an active lateral suspension; which would enable the trainset to have the same dynamic comfort at 360 km/h as a previous TGV trainset has at 300 km/h on a track section of the same quality. Did this come to reality? Does anybody know anything about that?? Gokaydince (talk) 10:28, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Infobox edit

I added an infobox, but I am unsure how to put the references, so if anybody would do it for me it would be much appreciated. The source of the information is http://www.transport.alstom.com/home/elibrary/technical/products/32033.EN.php?languageId=EN&dir=/home/elibrary/technical/products/ which is Alstom's website on AGV's technical specifications (at very bottom of page). If for some reason the link isn't operational go to www.transport.alstom.com click on very high speed trains and on the right side click on the link that says "AGV Technical Sheet : Challenge, concept, key figures" . Much appreciated! Yours trully Railroader 96 19:30, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Air france edit

Removal http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Automotrice_%C3%A0_grande_vitesse&diff=484246462&oldid=484246317

In Sep 2008 Air France-KLM / Veolia were speculated as potential AGV buyers, for a proposed 2010 high speed rail service between Paris and Amsterdam/London; by 2009 the plan was reportedly abandoned.[1][2]

This was never anything more than speculation, and most likely short term publicity bandwagon jumping by AirFrance/KLM for free advertising. Well done.Oranjblud (talk) 21:14, 27 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Another Conflicting Specification Source edit

http://documents.epfl.ch/users/a/al/allenbac/www/documents/Fich0596.pdf The above file was posted online several days prior and contains conflicting data regarding power specifications. It may be worth looking at. Fan Railer (talk) 22:33, 7 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

SI Units only, please edit

All technical articles in Wikipedia should use only the units of the International System (SI). No more inches, feet, pounds, long tons, short tons and the like. All countries in the world use this system, including the USA and the UK. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tiago65 (talkcontribs) 14:55, 17 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Why Avelia? edit

Why Avelia is mentioned? These trains are advanced TGVs, not AGVs.
