Talk:AAMI

First copyedit edit

I tried to get rid of most of the advertising. However, I'm 99% sure there is still some left, I just can't see it anymore. And it lacks sources, and probably a hell lotta other things. Please feel free to help.

minor edit edit

Have updated CEO information due to reappointment. Have removed references to poor customer service due to irrelevance and lack of similar sections in comparable articles in the insurance and Fin Services industry. Don jo (talk) 02:47, 6 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Australian Associated Motor Insurers LimitedAAMI Insurance – In all communications, media and advertising, the company is referred to as AAMI, both by the company and externally. Including 'Insurance' in the title will differentiate between other pages with AAMI included as the title. See AAMIs Website: https://www.aami.com.au/; press release related to AAMI: http://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/companies/news/62700/aeeris-limited-to-provide-early-warning-alerts-to-aami-customers-62700.html; news article related to AAMI advertising: http://www.bandt.com.au/media/neil-gets-girl-aamis-latest-ad-via-ogilvy-melbourne All mentiones of the company use the name AAMI Don jo (talk) 04:40, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Support - per nom; by far the most commonly used name is AAMI. FoCuS contribs; talk to me! 01:21, 10 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Move to AAMI (and move that page to AAMI (disambiguation)). None of the sources actually call it "AAMI Insurance", they simply call it "AAMI". It's also how the company refers to itself (pronounced as one word, like "Amy"). In addition, it is the clear primary topic – all but one of the articles listed on the dab are named after the insurance company. Jenks24 (talk) 09:15, 15 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • support per all above. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 12:03, 16 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
