Aalbc 01:26, 27 November 2006 (UTC) AALBC.com (Aalbc) I believe this page conforms to the convention described. Please tell me what is wrong. ThanksReply

The issue isn't with the article so much as the website itself. This is not encouraging. Please see Wikipedia:Notability (web) for guidelines. Fan-1967 01:29, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

CSD nomination

edit

It probably still doesn't deserve a page on Wikipedia but I have trouble defining a no-brainer speedy nomination. If it doesn't make more sense in the next day or so I'll take it to afd. For now my speedy nomination has been removed. •Elomis• 02:36, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Troy D Johnson (talk) 16:00, 9 March 2012 (UTC) I just reviewed wiki's info on notability: "The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself. This criterion includes reliable published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, magazine articles, books, television documentaries,..."Reply

AALBC.com has been featured on Cspan's BookTV and A&E, articles about AALBC.com and it's founder has been publishing in many newspapers and magazines. Over time I will ad these reference to demonstrate the notability of AALBC.com. The most recent newspaper article my be found in the New York Beacon, Feb 16, 2012 http://www.newyorkbeacon.net/files/be1907s.pdf (see page 39)

In addition AALBC.com is the largest website of its kind -- dedicated to books by or about people of African descent. It is also one of the oldest, continuous running sites of it's kind.

Please let me know what else i need to do to correct this or any remaining issue -- thanks.
