Removal of claim, Major Kelly commanded a battalion of the 8th Arkansas at Shiloh.
I removed the statement, Major Kelly commanded Companies A, B, C, and D of the 8th at Shiloh. Major Kelly actually was in command of the 9th Arkansas Battalion which fought in conjunction with the 8th Arkansas at Shiloh. There is some indications that Kelly and the 9th may have been under the command of Patterson during Shiloh. The Ninth would be consolidated with the 8th Arkansas following Shiloh and Major Kelly would be elected colonel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.58.196.241 (talk) 17:47, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
