85th Motor Rifle Division did not take any part in II World War. This division at 06.22.1941 was simply rifle division. This formation of 85 Rifle Division (first formation) was absolutely destroyed at Juny-July 1941 in Belarus. 85-th Rifle Division (second formation) was created by way of re-called of 2-th Leningrad division of irregulars at Septemper 1941 and this formation has not any link to first formation.
