Chart Information

edit

Who put that it debuted at 95 of Billboard Pop 100 because of lack of digital sales? It hasnt even been released digitally yet!

Specific person

edit

Although the People.com link given does indeed claim that she said the song wasn't about a specific person, it doesn't quote her on that, and when she was hosting American Top 40 earlier this month she clearly said, in response to a question, that the song was about a specific person but that she wouldn't reveal who the person was. I had used AT40 as a source previously, but somebody decided the People.com link was better; while I admit it's better to cite a website than a radio show, I don't think the People.com article reflects what she has actually said about the song. Perhaps we could find another article to use? Everyking (talk) 07:16, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, from watching the video... it's obviously her former boyfriend Nick Jonas (ROCK ON!). Okay.... first... she's wearing/displaying/kissing his dog-tag that he gave her, second she has a picture (only briefly seen) of her and some one else who's face has a little piece of paper over it. Writing Credits

edit

What exactly did she write or help write if it was co-written by two other major writers? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.74.112.232 (talk) 14:06, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

...that's almost too stupid of a comment to dignify it with an answer. Maybe she wrote some lyrics, but struggled to continue the song? Most likely, she had basic lyrics and a melody, but cannot write the actual music herself. The co-writers probably built on that melody with the instruments, and embellished on her lyrics. If a song is co-written, does it automatically mean that one or more of the writers didn't do anything? No. BambooBanga (talk) 03:27, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Censorship: What Disney Channel Knows Best

edit

I was wathing The Suite Life and I cut to commercial advertising Miley's New album. Was it censored to 7 Things, I LOVE about you??? It sounded like it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.45.129.253 (talk) 01:46, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pop PUNK?!

edit

This isn't pop punk; not even close. Someone should remove that it is 'pop punk' under the genre list. 68.39.131.127 (talk) 20:24, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Changed lyrics at Time of Heroes performance?

edit

When Miley performed 7 Things at Time Of Heroes on Sunday, fans should have noticed that the lyrics to this song were positively changed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szJSixTr1UM&feature=channel_page ^ I posted what I filmed at the concert, you can see here. "The Seven Things I (she took the mike away at hate) About You" "Oh I'm not coming back" changed to "I might come back" "When you mean it, I'll believe it" changed to "And now you mean it, I believe it" and she smiled when she said that. I am not sure about any others but because this song is about Nick Jonas (she confirmed it obviously) AND she hung out with him, hugging him, little kisses, and she broke up with her Justy-wusty (what I call that jerk Justin)...hmm?

Please correct quote

edit

1) The quote starting "I was locked up in the bus the entire time..." has errors in transcription from the audio source. Could some dedicated fan correct it? (This is particularly important, since at some point it might be removed from easy Internet access.) 2) If some words are to be omitted (it might be appropriate, since she's just speaking off the cuff) then use "...". E.g., there's no special reason to record "you know" three times in one quote. Regards, Piano non troppo (talk) 19:13, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject

edit

I am proposing a WikiProject for all matter relating to Miley Cyrus. There are many articles for topics of her music and acting career so having an organized system with proper editors and collaborators would be great. To sign up or support the project please go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Miley Cyrus. Thank you. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 18:06, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in 7 Things

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 7 Things's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:07, 4 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
