Yucky mustard color

edit

I don't like the mustard colored background in the big table. What do others think? All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 00:15, 25 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

I must admit I do not care for the mustard color but I find no general guidelines or specifc Wikiproject guidelines that specify which color should be used (except for some accessibility issues) ([1], so I guess it just is a matter of consensus. Here is a color chart:[colors]personally I prefer the pale blue range, it does not pop out too much and the text is easy to read. There was some discussion of the use of style in general at Wikipedia talk:Consensus/RfC: "Given WP:CONLIMITED, to what extent and under what circumstances can individual WikiProjects and users customize article appearance with individual styles that deviate from site-wide style guidelines?" .) I just noticed that the 83rd Academy Awards uses this yellow color (which I'll call EEDD82 to be accurate) in its table, perhaps that's where the idea for the Tony Award table color comes from. I assume this table (Tony Awards) and this article (65th Tony Awards) are not bound by the Academy Awards colors. JeanColumbia (talk) 19:06, 25 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
