See also should include CGTrader (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CGTrader) which has over 70,000 3D models. Lasaite (talk) 13:37, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia site for one of the companies (3D Hubs) has now been created. It is the world’s largest network of 3D printers, references are on the page. Thanks!

American3ders edit
Would it be possible to add a link to http://american3ders.com to the see also section? The external citation might be: http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?229,537104,537104 which pointed to norcal3ders.com but that site now redirects to http://american3ders.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.130.108.219 (talk • contribs) 15:59, 4 November 2015
Should we do away with the Examples section? edit
It seems to me that the examples section does not serve to inform that well, and is a magnet for blatant ::::spammy example cruft. Do others concur? Or do you feel we need to keep that section?? --Nat Gertler (talk) 17:54, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
- @NatGertler: I lean toward keeping it, provided that each example already has its own Wikipedia article. If the list grows too large, we can always split it off into a list article.
- I have semi-protected the article for 1 year to prevent further spamming. Most of the anonymous IP addresses and unconfirmed accounts don't make productive edits in this article anyway, so it's no loss to semi-protect it. If the spam resumes after protection lifts next year, we can indef-semi-protect it. ~Anachronist (talk) 21:56, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
- Actually, looking at the article again, I think we should just remove the section, create a new section above "See also" and list the marketplace articles there. I'm going to do that. ~Anachronist (talk) 22:03, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
