Talk:29 December 2023 Russian strikes on Ukraine

Aftermath (December 30) section edit

To make such section, one needs multiple RS asserting that the events on December 29 and December 30 were related, and explain how and why they are related. Otherwise, this is WP:SYN. My very best wishes (talk) 00:36, 31 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

the shelling in Belgorod is viable enough for its own article. But I am planning to restore a summary of it in the aftermath as part of other events such as the UNSC reactions and the Day of Mourning in Kyiv for 1 January. Borgenland (talk) 01:15, 31 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
It now belongs to page 30 December 2023 Belgorod missile attacks. The title was incorrect: this is actually a shelling, not a missile attack. Hence renamed. I have no opinion if it is viable as a separate page though. My very best wishes (talk) 02:40, 31 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
As about the day of mourning [1] - yes, of course, this should be included in an Aftermath section. My very best wishes (talk) 03:02, 31 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Just expanded the whole article. Borgenland (talk) 07:33, 31 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Good work! Actually, I saw a couple of sources saying that the Ukrainian attacks next day were a retaliation, but not sure if this is true. Typically, such attacks (i.e. Russian strikes on this page or Ukrainian drones sent to Russia) require days or weeks to prepare. Nothing is usually a direct retaliation.
