The act-now campaign began exactly on May 30th. The same day as the democracy march purposely. It could have happened any other day of the year, it didn't. The school campus controversy IS the reason why such a large crowd showed up at the candlelight vigil. Multiple sources mention that relation. Benjwong (talk) 04:12, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • While I agree that the statue seizures probably resulted in so many joining the vigil, it is still not clear how the Act Now campaign is directly relevant. There is nothing here, or in any news article I've read, which indicates that the events are related, or that timing is anything but coincidental. Ohconfucius ¡digame! 13:21, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
