Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

This article is written in American English, which has its own spelling conventions (color, defense, traveled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

@GTrang and Rushtheeditor: I noticed a double revert at 2030 Winter Olympics,[1][2] relating to the branding of the 2034 games, and I'd like to iron out whatever disagreements there may be here first before it potentially develops into an edit war. It's clear from primary sources at least that the official branding for the games is Salt Lake City–Utah 2034, with "Utah" included in the name.[1][2][3] I don't particularly see the necessity of truncating this for an infobox's succession links, especially for "context" that simply does not exist in the 2030 Winter Olympics article, or similar articles with a succession link to 2034 Winter Olympics. This is what I was going to say but looking at Common Name it actually pertains to article names and not this instance. So I would tend to agree with AFC that it should be the full name. Even if we were going for common, I feel like it would be similar to the branding for 2002, Salt Lake 2002. The city often gets dropped when referring to Salt Lake. If that is the general consensus to use the official branding instead of merely [host city(ies)] [year], that should be consistent across all the Olympics infoboxes, navboxes, and all Summer and Winter articles, etc. I may not be the only one (whether an established Wikipedian, newbie, or unregistered IP) who might have that misunderstanding. I believe it already mostly is, which is why I noted the reverts in the first place – that they seemed to deviate from the norm of the brand name of the games being used in these contexts. For example, the use of "Salt Lake 2002" across relevant articles instead of the [host] [year] format of "Salt Lake City 2002", or "Milano Cortina 2026" being used instead of "Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo 2026". — AFC Vixen 🦊 18:38, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
