Public Disclosure Commission paperworks

So, LittleMissDexterous cited this source[1] (reference copied from article) that has the sentence, "Lt. Gov. Denny Heck, Secretary of State Kim Wyman, Attorney General Bob Ferguson and Lands Commissioner Hilary Franz have also filed their PDC paperwork for 2024." She apparently thought, as seen with this edit, that this meant those 4 people have filed paperwork to run for Governor. As such, I went a little digging to the Public Disclosure Commission website itself and found out that's not what the article was trying to say. As you can see in these sources[2][3][4][5], they're registering for their current respective offices, ie. they're running for reelection, not for Governor. I hope I can clear this up and I will undo this edit promptly. twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 12:59, 20 September 2021 (UTC)

The source can be used to say that those people filed paperwork in their respective elections, eg. 2024 Washington Attorney General election and 2024 Washington lieutenant gubernatorial election, but since those articles haven't been created, this source shouldn't be cited for these 4 people at the moment. twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 13:10, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
