Merge

edit

I think this article should be merged into 2024 Chicago White Sox season article, rather than deleted. Details about the game can be found in that article. SnoopyAndCharlieBrown202070 (talk) 01:40, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I think with how historical the event truly is, due to the fact this was the first time in 62 years a team reached 120+ losses and has also lost the most amount of games in the modern era (c. 1900). This event also was notable for the other team making a playoff appearance for the first time in a decade, whom of which had bad seasons too, in 2019. So overall, the event should be kept on. If you feel to disagree, I wouldn't mind too much since the topic is open-ended. TBJ10RH (talk) 14:39, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I would rather merge this article with 2024 Chicago White Sox season and have a section in that article about losses 120 and 121. I've checked other historical baseball moments, like the Montreal Expos' final game in Montreal; details about that game were found at 2004 Montreal Expos season. I think we should merge this into the article about the 2024 White Sox season. SnoopyAndCharlieBrown202070 (talk) 19:53, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've already moved key details about losses 120 and 121 to the 2024 Chicago White Sox season article. I saw other historical moments in baseball and I felt that this was the right move, as those historical moments are part of other articles. Updated redirect destination

edit

This article was discussed in an AfD and the result was to redirect it. However, a lot of the content ended up getting merged, per some discussions. I've updated the redirect to point to this new section, because it just makes the most sense to. I've updated the shell as well.
