Isn’t the phrase “The suspect is believed to be Sai Varshith Kandula” redundant? It seems to me that it would be more accurate to say either “The _culprit_ is believed to be Sai Varshith Kandula” or “The suspect _is_ Sai Varshith Kandula”.
The word “suspect” already implies uncertainty and some degree of subjectivity (we use the word since without a trial we can’t say for sure that he did it). Adding the phrase “believed to be” is overdoing it in this case. We KNOW he’s the suspect, we just don’t know if he’s guilty. 2604:2D80:6984:3800:0:0:0:57D0 (talk) 02:37, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
