Suggesting a page lock edit
-There’s rampant vandalism on this page at the moment, there should be some level of security on the page as it is regarding a current event. -Canadiancon2020 (talk) 19:48, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah there are so many tryhard weens trying to get Twitter likes by posting screenshots of the vandalised page. It's getting unbearable trying to fix these edits while also trying to keep up with the event. We really need to lock the page. JimmethMM (talk) 20:02, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
- I rolled back to a version from yesterday. Sorry if any good edits were lost, but there was too much nonsense. Article is semiprotected; I hope I don't need to full protect it, but I will if necessary. —C.Fred (talk) 20:22, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
- That's all good, It just got so out of hand, as soon as I would finish manually reverting edits, some joker would cause an edit conflict. JimmethMM (talk) 20:26, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
