The men's and women's tournaments are two different events. They have different organizers, locations and names. The men's tournament is called I. ČLTK Prague Open 2020 by Moneta Money Bank and is played at the I. ČLTK Prague tennis club. The name of the women's tournament is TK Sparta Prague Open and is played at the the TK Sparta Prague complex (with some early round matches at I. ČLTK Prague). Maybe there should be two different Wikipedia articles for the two tournaments. M9155 (talk) 09:52, 29 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yes, connection women and men is nonsense. BTW, tournament Advantage Cars Prague Open 2020 doesn't exist. Official name women's tourn. is really "TK Sparta Prague Open" at club Sparta Prague. This is a result of mechanic creating articles; similar case here. Kacir 20:08, 30 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
... and two different tournaments crosswiki exist: men's (cs,de) vs. women's.Kacir 20:52, 30 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I add my comment to the above saying i'm in favor too of the split of this article into two. The rationale seems pretty obvious in the first place. We have multiple official sources saying the Advantage Cars Prague Open is no more: the official bulletin of the tournament, the official draw, the official website (check on the history page), all of them converge on a different title for this men's tournament edition. So i just will use the date corrected title already in here, 2020 I.ČLTK Prague Open. About the women's one, there is already a 2020 Prague Open, which was played the week before on the same venue, so i'm not going to change that but to expand over the same title, with a numeration added, 2020 Prague Open II and link it to the main article WTA Prague Open. --95.250.109.34 (talk) 00:24, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
