I'll review this. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 18:21, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Images are appropriately tagged. The youtube source is an offical channel. Earwig finds no issues.

  • What makes awfulannouncing.com a reliable source?
  • "The game was the host of the ESPN pregame show College GameDay": unless this is some specific usage that applies to that TV show, "host" seems like it has to be the wrong word -- the host of a TV show is a person.
  • "A rising number of COVID-19 cases within the program led Liberty to drop out less than a week prior": suggest "less than a week prior to game day".
  • The caption of the picture of Wilson says he was "continuously blocked"; I think this should probably be "repeatedly" or "continually" -- "continuously" refers to something that never stops at all. But the explanation given at the end of the "First half" section is different from the explanation in the caption -- which is correct?
  • The upper case "G" in "4th & Goal" looks a little odd; shouldn't that be "4th & goal"?
  • The scoring summary is unsourced; I would suggest adding the relevant citation(s) to the title of the table, "Scoring summary".
    • That would be my ideal location as well, but that is part of the template {{AmFootballScoreSummaryStart}}, which does not provide such an option. The citation I would use for the scoring summary is the same as has been used in the game summary section (ref 33) at this point, "BYU vs. Coastal Carolina – Play-By-Play", so if there's another location you can think of I'm happy to do that. All of the scoring plays are mentioned in the game summary, so if there's not a suitable place for another instance of the citation, it wouldn't be the end of the world. • The statistics sesctions are unsourced.

I've copyedited as I read through; please revert if I made a mess of anything. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 22:07, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Spotchecks:

  • FN 36 cites "A highlight clip from the game was the most-viewed clip from any Week 14 game on any ESPN digital platform, receiving 1.4 million views": verified.
  • FN 25 cites "and won an away contest at No. 21 Louisiana on a Wednesday evening by three points the next week, for their first win over a ranked program in school history." Verified.
  • FN 4 cites "The game was not officially confirmed until the following day, with ESPN playing a key role in the process, and even then the two schools had yet to enter into any kind of written agreement. Holmoe told Dinich that BYU and Coastal would work out a future return game, presumably hosted by BYU at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah, after the 2020 season." Verified.

I also verified a couple of the play-by-plays in the game summary section. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 22:11, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Mike Christie: Thanks very much for the review! I believe I've addressed everything. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 19:01, 27 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Two things left. For citing the scoring summary, how about just adding the word "Sources" below the table and putting the citations on that word? And the caption from which you removed the word "continuously" seems to give a completely different explanation of the stoppage from what is given in the text. @Mike Christie I have added the source and I tried to amend the caption; I'm trying to get the meaning of what is mentioned in the text without using the exact same wording if I can avoid it. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 05:39, 30 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
