Placement Round 9th - 12th Place

edit

What are the sources for that?--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 08:53, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I found it myself: [1]--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 09:16, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

That is not the best template for the bracket because the first 2 games are missing. Better would be one like in the College World Series. One half of the CWS bracket would be the right one.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 10:11, 8 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Done.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 11:36, 8 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

There was a scheduling mistake in this placement/relegation round: it should have been A5-B6 and B5-A6, instead it was A5-B5 and A6-B6.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 10:40, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

As there was no opposition in 12 days, I will add it to the article.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 09:17, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Editor deletions

edit

An editor has for some odd reason now twice deleted from the lede that this is a 12-national-team tournament. The first time, without any edit summary explanation. The second time, with the subjective opinion that it is not “necessary.” Of course it is not “necessary” to write anything at all. That misses the point. It is appropriate, however. Per wp:lede. “The lead serves as an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important contents.” I urge it’s reinsertion, accordingly. --2604:2000:E010:1100:CC41:3469:F5ED:4222 (talk) 19:13, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

That information is completely unnecessary. It is obvious that national teams took part and the number one can just see in the qualification section. And: no other tournament article in sports has this.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 10:32, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
You added it anyway, and now it is deleted again.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 10:38, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
The next European Championship will have 16 instead of 12 teams. THAT information belongs in the lead of the 2021 article.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 10:58, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
