We current have "Invitational event (including amateur legs)". Personally I find this very confusing. Firstly "legs" - shouldn't this be "qualification" of something similar. Secondly "amateur" - the winner came through but a qualifying event and took home the £10,000 first prize. This defies all logic as to what "amateur" means. See Amateur sports: "Amateur sports are sports in which participants engage largely or entirely without remuneration." Maybe the organisers have some strange idea what "amateur" means or maybe the participants are "amateurs" in some strange sense I don't understand, but the qualifying events can't be called "amateur" surely. Do the qualifying stages only include "amateurs" or are (non-tour) professionals eligible too. Nigej (talk) 11:18, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
