Talk:2018 United States Senate election in North Dakota

Voter ID law and Native Americans disenfranchisement Section edit

Voter ID law and Native Americans disenfranchisement section should be deleted from the page for a couple reasons. First, the title of the section implying Native Americans were disenfranchised by the voter ID law simply is not borne out in the facts. Second, the election saw a record turnout among Native American voters. There is no reason for this outsized section to be here, as we do not include sections such as this on the multitude of other state election pages that have voter ID laws. You misused the source, so I have fixed it. The backlash against these suppression measures resulted in an unprecedented turnout. It's an example of how activism works. -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 15:41, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
That is simply your leftist opinion. If it is actually voter suppression then it did a pretty damn piss poor job of it. Reverted back. Themanoflaw049 (talk) 17:19, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
That's how a successful backlash works. You misused the source to include your OR opinion. The source told a different story. -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 17:42, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Whatever. Wikipedia always has a leftist slant. So long as people know that no votes were actually suppressed and Heitkamp got destroyed fair and square then all is good. Themanoflaw049 (talk) 08:05, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
