Quebec NPD

I want to avoid any "editing wars" at all costs, but as a head's up I've added the Quebec NDP. They've registered with Elections Quebec and have stated their intention to contest the next election. They're also affiliated with a federal party that has 16 incumbents in the province, ergo they warrant mention. Chris-Gilmore77 (talk) 09:07, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

They do warrant mention, but so far they are a very minor party. Let them build themselves as a party before we mention them. I also want to point out that in the last election, only parties with incumbent MPs were in the infobox prior to the election results. Unless the NDPQ gets formidable coverage, I doubt there will be much support to have them in the infobox. Abjiklɐm (tɐlk) 11:17, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

Minor parties and candidates list

Per above, I doubt that minor parties (i.e. any other than PLQ-PQ-CAQ-QS) need be listed is separate columns - just grouping them all together in the "Other column" would be a more accurate depiction of their coverage in reliable sources. 107.190.33.254 (talk) 23:22, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

That is not the policy we've adopted in other provincial elections. If a party is running in a majority of ridings in a region, they get their own column to avoid clutter in the 'other' column. -- Earl Andrew - talk 00:03, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

Colour

All tables are consistent in the article and with other articles. Only one file from Commons, which is sort of an external element, is different, because its author chose to make it that way. I don't think it's a big problem, as long as it shows its own colour chart. But if you think it's important, it is possible to remove that file or to ask if someone could create another one. -- Asclepias (talk) 16:04, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

The colour scheme being used, specifically the colour used for the PQ, may have been consistent with the party in the past (and is the same as the BQ), but current colour schemes for the PQ have them being a significantly darker shade than that being used right now, and it's making the graphics (which use the darker shade) and the tables etc. conflicting and confusing throughout. This probably should be corrected, especially as this is a current event that likely has more traffic than it might otherwise.HrafnHaugr (talk) 17:19, 2 October 2018 (UTC)

Legault first centre-right premier since 1970

"Legault is the province's first centre-right premier since the Union Nationale left office in 1970."

What about Jean Charest. He was leader of the federal Progressive Conservatives before becoming Quebec Liberal leader and Premier.

More recently he was named as a potential successor to federal Conservative leader Andrew Scheer when Scheer announced his resignation but Charest ultimately declined.49.3.72.79 (talk) 04:45, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

And what about Lucien Bouchard who came from the Progressive Conservative Party and gave Quebec his "zero deficit" program. That sentence should be removed. --AndréLegault (talk) 07:38, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

The map is not accurate

Hello,

I just wanted to point out that there are a couples inaccuracies on the map. First of all, riding 111 (Côte-du-Sud) in the Bas-Saint-Laurent seems to be missing a piece. Second, the ridings of Vaudreuil and Soulanges are inaccurate, because Hudson should be in the latter, not the former. That last change was made between the 2014 and 2018 elections.
