This article should not be merged into Mexico–United States relations. This article is about something recent and specific, as opposed to Mexico–United States relations in general. Why is the grammar in the article so awful?

"The Mexican government stated they will not under any circumstances accept"

This article doesn't seem necessary, yet

It's unclear how the NAFTA renegotiation is/would going (Mexico themselves could benefit, if Trump imposes stronger restrictions on Chinese auto parts in the NA auto market) and won't be known until it's made public next year. The article itself dead-ends in February of this year, without any updates.

NAFTA renegotiation is an extremely fickle issue, and this article does a poor attempt at tackling it. Either have someone familiar with NAFTA rewrite it to a higher standard or delete it.
