Venturi? edit

The official Formula E website lists Maro Engel and Tom Dillman as the team's drivers. It could be outdated, but they also list NextEV as NIO so I'm inclined to think it's not. Is there a reason Engel and Dillman are not listed in the drivers-table? --CaptainNtheGameMaster (talk) 07:52, 7 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, just noticed it doesn't list NIO's full roster. So I guess it is out of date. --CaptainNtheGameMaster (talk) 07:53, 7 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Kobayashi edit

@JoeyofthePriuses and the others, here is the link that confirms that Kobayashi will race under Monaco racing license. Also this link is provided in the article in the footnote. Corvus tristis (talk) 04:41, 27 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

That is merely a single tweet from Formula E, yet the official Formula E website shows Kobayashi is racing under a Japanese flag. I feel this is a more reliable source until we have further confirmation, and this can be found here. Wikipediaeditperson (talk) 16:23, 27 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Not a single tweet. One of them shows Andretti squad with Monaco flag for Kobayashi and then the other with explanation from the promoters of the series. And often Twitter (account of Formula E is confirmed) provides more operative information than official site. While information on the official sites is often outdated, talking from experience with many other motorsport series. Anyway the page is fully protected for two days and entry list for the round will be released soon. Corvus tristis (talk) 06:36, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Here is the official FIA entry list: https://www.fia.com/file/63922/download?token=A3HpqOzb. Kobayashi is listed with "MCO" as countryWild8oar (talk) 11:38, 30 November 2017 (UTC).Reply
I've indefinitely semi-protected the article to stop IPs changing Kobayashi's flag. Fair warning is hereby given that any further changes to Kobayashi's flag will be treated as vandalism after a final warning has been given. You all know what that means... Infobox image edit

Although I can edit the article without asking, to do so would be a breach of WP:ADMINACCT

This should be pretty uncontroversial, but as the article is currently locked I'm raising for discussion here. Should an image of Di Grassi be added to the infobox with a caption stating he is the reigning champion? Mjroots (talk) 11:14, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I agree it is uncontroversial and should be added.Corvus tristis (talk) 17:23, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
I decided to wait until the article came off protection. Image added. Mjroots (talk) 17:24, 29 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Season nomenclature edit

Is "20XX–YY Formula E season" really the right name for these articles? I've noticed that a lot of sources (such as this one) refer to the championship as "Formula E Season X". Sure, they also use the dates, but I've also noticed that the commentators repeatedly use the "Season X" format. I think that under WP:COMMONNAME, "Formula E Season X" might be a better fit. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 05:44, 30 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

We don't have a practice to name season articles by their index number, so our practice is more important for the search reasons than usage in some media (it is not dominant usage). More of question is why we keep XXXX-XX Formula E season instead of XXXX-XX FIA Formula E Championship. Corvus tristis (talk) 14:42, 2 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Semi-protected edit request on 2 December 2017 edit

As described in the page, the point for fastest lap can not be awarded to a driver outside the top ten anymore. The point should be noted for Felix Rosenkvist.

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. It appears that the extra point is already credited to Daniel Abt. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 15:50, 2 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

San Paulo race edit

According to Formula E official website, http://www.fiaformulae.com/en/calendar the race of March 17th will be in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Please update the calendar table — Preceding unsigned comment added by Danycassio (talkcontribs) 19:25, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

According to the source given in the calendar section right before the table, the Sao Paulo race has been postponed. The calendar table is fine as is. Hamtechperson 20:17, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
