Tense edit

Until the election is over, can we please write this in present tense? Schwede66 05:19, 6 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I was thinking of that too. J947 05:48, 6 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Endorsements edit

Should we put Bill English in the his endorsement section? User:Lcmortensen recently removed this with this edit, but I think that it requires discussion. J947 01:42, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Just my two cents, but I'd think that it would be appropriate to list Bill English under his own endorsement section, since the paragraph was intended originally as a way to display how many votes within the caucus each candidate had publicly secured. Media news reports such as the Herald have included the candidate themselves in their counts e.g. reporting on the leadership race ([1]), and the deputy leadership race ([2]). I agree. J947 07:30, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

We should also put the deputy endorsements and the candidates for deputy. J947 07:34, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Infobox images edit

@Gadfium Regarding the weird issue that I’m seeing, but perhaps you aren’t: in the Page Preview, the image displayed is currently that of Jonathan Coleman. I haven’t dug into the why or the how, but the difference between the formatting of the three images was enough to make me think that is what’s causing it. I can also confirm that after my edits, English was correctly displayed in the Page Preview. I suspect that making all three the same format will be enough to default the priority to the first image, so I’m happy to switch to whichever format is preferable. — HTGS (talk) 04:09, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I've tried making all three images unformatted. However, it looks correct to me whether they are formatted or unformatted. I use Firefox with Windows 10, but I also looked at it with Chrome. Are you seeing a blank space for English, or are the images displaying in the wrong positions? A screenshot may help explain. However, if my currect version doesn't work for you, feel free to revert to your last version.-gadfium 04:23, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

FYI. At this point it might actually be worth escalating this to the Page Preview people though. — HTGS (talk) 01:30, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I see the photo of Coleman leading the article using the Wikipedia app on my Android phone, but only when viewing the current page, not when previewing it. I suggest you take it to WP:VPT.-gadfium 01:59, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
