The last edit introduced a badly-worded but important sentence in "The challengers only had nine supporters, lacking the 13 required install a new chief minister". This is a bit misleading in that, without further context, it implies that they didn't have the numbers within the party, rather than within the parliament, which is what they lacked. This is all the more important considering the unusual circumstances of this challenge - I cannot think of any recent historical precedent where a leader has lost the support of a majority of his own caucus but remained because the minority of caucus wouldn't vote for the challenger as Chief Minister or Premier. As such, without clarification I think most people are going to assume they just didn't have the numbers within their own party, and I think we need a better wording... I've tweaked this a bit - it's a confusing situation! Nick-D (talk) 10:06, 5 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
