Well, for starters, as long as you can make an entry with reliable sources offering a context about the particular election it may be ok after all, because there is no limit to the number of Wikipedia articles. In any case in order to counter the slippery slope fallacy of the 8,000 articles, users could as well adhere to the same "arbitrary" criteria as the entry this article was redirected to uses for summarizing changes in city control ("provincial capitals, as well as in municipalities above 75,000").--Asqueladd (talk) 06:25, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
