Number of governor races edit
The fact box at the top right says there are 38 elections for governor. Milestones edit
The following appears in the Milestones subsection of the results section: "Joni Ernst, elected to the Senate from Iowa, became the first female combat veteran elected to the U.S. Congress, the first woman ever elected on a statewide level in Iowa, and the first woman ever elected to the U.S. Congress from Iowa." Is Joni Ernst the first female combat veteran elected to the U.S. Congress? What about Tammy Duckworth, elected to the House in 2013? - That was the House of Representatives where as the quote you give clearly refers to the Senate 109.158.185.216 (talk) 17:53, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
- The quote I refer to says "Joni Ernst, elected to the Senate from Iowa, became the first female combat veteran elected to the U.S. Congress . . ." The United States Congress includes both the House and the Senate. Verkhovensky (talk) 23:59, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
- It seems someone (possibly Verkhovensky) edited the section to resolve this concern. I'm about to edit this section in the page to remove a tendentious milestone concerning George P.
