Context and Indaequate lead tags edit

The reason these mark up tags were added to this article because the lead of the story does not explain that this is an article about a motor racing series. It does not explain that it is a open-wheel series, for that matter is it an open-wheel series? The reader is forced to guess because no explanation has been rovided. Because it is a sporting championship one of the most important aspects is the winner, the lead should carry details about who is leading the championship even though the series is not yet complete. It is not enough to have a link to a term like Fórmula Futuro. The language should be clear enough that someone can read the lead and understand it without having to go through any wikilinks to other wiki articles. Wikipedia is a general purpose encyclopedia, it should be written for an audience who know next to nothing about the subject.

At the very least a term motor racing, motorsport or auto racing or similar should appear in the lead to make it clear this as a car based sporting event and yet, this most basic of explanations is absent. --Falcadore (talk) 00:44, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
