  • There is some evidence that this is not a non-free issue, per the College Hockey Task force guidelines, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ice Hockey/College Ice Hockey task force/Guidelines, where it says: " Feel free to upload ice hockey team logos for any schools/team's article/infobox. Vector is preferred over raster images, however, when vector is not available, use raster instead. " The problems with this guidance are: 1)Is this valid guidance?, 2)Assuming there is/was license to use school/team logo's, this note is 8 years old, and ensuing Wikipedia policy may have significantly compromised the guideline, and 3) if the guideline conflicts with the non-free policy, the guideline should be changed/deleted. Nonetheless, in lieu of specific information regarding the validity of the guideline, I think it's OK to keep the logo. Bill McKenna (talk) 04:14, 17 January 2017 (UTC).Reply

Rating/importance edit

I was directed to this article as it was on the unassessed list since 2013. Re: importance, I am conflicted, as D-III hockey season articles are discouraged, but RIT did win the D-III Frozen Four that year, and in the subsequent year moved to D-I. I'm going to rate it as 'low' to be conservative, as it was an exceptional season. Re: Quality, the article is very incomplete and is poorly linked. I'll rate it as 'stub' with a clean-up and expansion recommended. Bill McKenna (talk) 04:14, 17 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
