Link edit edit

The link to 'Breakeven' should link to Breakeven (song) and not the generic term. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmlinden7 (talkcontribs) 20:02, 25 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Drake is Canadian edit

I understand that Drake is one of the hottest artists in the U.S., but he is Canadian, and is already listed in 2010 in Canadian music. Blackjays1 (talk) 19:01, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think this article is less about American artists and more about music released in the United States. BOVINEBOY2008 :) 19:51, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Well in that case, you could say the same thing about American music being released in Canada. There should be some sort of criteria for "American music" here. I would prefer only American artists be listed, because any other artist would be viewed as Canadian, British, etc. releasing music in the U.S. Blackjays1 (talk) 09:11, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
What is an American artist? I would consider Madonna an American artist, but she was born in Canada! BOVINEBOY2008 :) 13:09, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
She was born in Michigan. But my point is, it's much more practical to list only American artists here and vice-versa in the Canadian article. Blackjays1 (talk) 09:56, 12 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Giving up edit

I will no longer be editing this article. I believed it to be specific for "American" bands/artists/whatever, but I see many foreign bands and music are still seen here or have been re-added. Well whatever floats your boat I guess. I will primarily be working on the other nation-oriented and genre-specific articles from now on. I'll give this one to the dogs and see what happens. Apparently, chaos seems to appeal to the majority that check this page (Tigerghost (talk) 11:31, 8 February 2010 (UTC))Reply

Merge? edit

I think I know that many American editors may wish to return this article back into the globalized page, but is there anyone willing to help me fight for keeping American music and international music separate? Please see Talk:2010 in music for the discussion. (Tigerghost (talk) 20:41, 13 January 2010 (UTC))Reply

Deaths edit

Not every one of the people in the Deaths section were American or resident in the US, nor died there. Jim Michael (talk) 17:17, 17 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

New idea for this article edit

How about someone organizes a "Summery" section for this article? The british article has it, and it's a well crafted and brilliant idea! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Victor`loves texas (talkcontribs) 21:32, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Asylum by Disturbed edit

Can someone add "Asylum" by "Disturbed" set to be released august 31st. The reference is www.disturbed1.com . I tried to myself but i couldn't find the right point.

Never doubt that a group of commited people can change the world, indeed it is the only thing that ever has. (talk) 19:22, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Did a couple of things.. edit

Alright, heres what I did, if u want to know:

Moved the August 31st albums from to be released to released.

Also, I moved the Cold, Everclear, Skinny Puppy, and Lexington Bridge(?), to the unspecified, as these wont come out in August (obviously)

And, I added the Feeding The Wolves album by 10 Years on the August 31st albums, as it came out (self explanitory), if its still on unspecified, I will remove it, since I didn't see it. GD1223 (talk) 00:47, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Release date contradiction edit

Which information is to take priority, this page or the albums listen on it's articles? For example, the page for Diddy's "Last Train to Paris" claims it is to be released in December, whereas this page claims it was released last week (this is not true). Can people make sure that the release dates on both the album pages and this one do not contradict in future? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.52.13.226 (talk) 02:16, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Bot Causing Trouble edit

The ClueBot NG seems to be keeping this page from being updated by marking the moving of albums who have been released to the released section as vandalism. Why is it doing this and how can we get it to stop? I've been blocked three times already in updating this page, which is several weeks out of date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.52.13.226 (talk) 01:41, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think because it's your using an IP address instead of a registered user name. --Shadow (talk) 04:22, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dead link edit

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!
