Groups E and F

edit

Standings in this round should include all results from preliminary round, the edit showing the advancing teams having only 2 games is incorrect. http://czechrepublic2010.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/10/fwc/women/p/system-competition.html69.63.51.156 (talk) 19:14, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Okay that´s new to me but ok. Kante4 (talk) 19:26, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Their own standings page seems to disagree though: http://czechrepublic2010.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/10/fwc/women/p/eid/4730/lid//rid/7212/sid/4730/group-standing.html, just noticed it now, not sure how it should appear here18abruce (talk) 19:50, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Normally only the games against the other qualified teams counts. I would go with the official standings! Kante4 (talk) 19:53, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Please define 'normally', in 2006 and 2002, all games counted, and they state that that is how it supposed to be. I prefer listing only the games against the other qualified teams, but I am not convinced that they have not simply made an error.18abruce (talk) 20:06, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Maybe normally was the wrong word but it´s logical and it´s how it was done in the FIBA Junior tournaments and "other sports" even know that doesn´t count... Kante4 (talk) 20:21, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
It counts all games. See http://czechrepublic2010.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/10/fwc/women/p/group-standing.html This is how the Women's tournament works. MrArticleOne (talk) 21:45, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
They changed their standings table afterall, before it just counted the 2 games against the other qualified teams. Now it´s ok... Kante4 (talk) 10:28, 27 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
"Normally" is absolute the right word, it's just ridiculous and stupid the way the FIBA does it!--93.242.186.46 (talk) 20:38, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
