Talk:2010–12 European Nations Cup First Division

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

From 2011 on the European Champioship will be played in one year basis - meaning 5 games each team - and only for promotion/relegation purposes the accumullated of two seasons - 10 games - will be taken in consideration. On the other hand First Division A and First Division B are two tottally diferent divisions - in fact the term First Division is used only for sponsorship reasons - and they should be treated separately.

FIRA-AER says: The Unions ranked 1 to 6 will play in Division 1 A, home and away games, on season 2010-2011 and 2011 -2012, 10 games per Union, and 30 games in total.

At the end of each Season a champion will be designated , according to match points got in that specific season (on June 2011, the champion being the Union having more points, and on June 2012, the Champion being the Union with more points in the games played on season 2011-2012). ... At the end of season 2011-2012, the Union ranked 6th(considering the results of games played during the 2 seasons) will be relegated to Division 1 B.
