Incorrect Track Map edit
I'm pretty sure that the diagram of the track layout on this article is incorrect: The Veedol chicane shown in the diagram is the one used for Motorcycle races. For F1 cars, they use the first part of the chicane (shown greyed out on the diagram). Will look for a definate source Oli.meggitt (talk) 15:16, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Numbering the German Grand Prix edit
Hello, where comes the "LXIX" from? Whether the FIA, the FOA nor the Hockenheim displays any numbering for the Grand Prix. Where comes it from? With greetings from the german wiki. --Quedel (talk) 18:18, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- It's WP:F1 convention to number the races sequentially using Roman numerals. But "LXIX" was wrong; the 2009 German GP was the 70th event, so I've corrected that (and the 2006 and 2008 races, which were also incorrectly numbered). DH85868993 (talk) 01:42, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

At Wikipedia:F1#Grands Prix there is no numbering visible, and the tag implicied that the "official name" of the event is mentioned, but the official name is without numbers. - I've raised the matter for discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Formula_One#Numbering_of_races. Regarding the link you mentioned above, Wikipedia:F1#Grands Prix describes the use of the {{F1 race}} template, which is used in the general race articles (e.g. Australian Grand Prix, French Grand Prix, British Grand Prix, etc). The template used in individual race reports is Template:Infobox Grand Prix race report. Unfortunately, that template's documentation doesn't provide a fully populated example or discuss the contents of the Official Name field. DH85868993 (talk) 02:42, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
